Part 2 - Chapters 1 - 45 - Finding what interests you

Each of you picked a selection you found interesting. Now I would like you to do the following:

1. Key in (type) the selection you found interesting into the comment section.
2. Read everyone's comments from the first posting of Finding What Interests You.
3. Comment on each person's writing
4. Once everyone has keyed in their selection they found interesting - make a brief comment on what you thought of that selection.

Chapters 1 - 45 - Finding what interests you

(1) Find a selection from the story (Chapters 1 - 45) that you found interesting of 50 or more words from Life of Pi - list the page number and chapter in the book where the selection is found.

(2) Did Martell use any literary elements in this selection? If so, please describe.
(3) Using 100+ words of your own, explain why you chose this selection.

(4) Describe in detail Pi Patel (visually/physically)

(5) Describe in detail Pi Patel (mentally - {who is Pi Patel?})

I don't know how to blog. Someone help me cause I think I messed up the blog. HELP!!!

I read the authors note today. I think the story will be about some kid's life story with a zoo. Then this is some how going to make you believe in god.

Life of Pi

Welcome to CSB in the School of BIS - we will be using this blog as a way for us to communicate as we journey into the adventure of Pi Patel.

By Sunday, May 3rd I would like each of you to be finished through Chapter 45. I will be posting requirements on this blog site often, so please check it daily.

This evening, Monday April 27, I will post up some work.

Your first assignment will be to do the following:

Read the author's note and look at the cover of your book. Describe in a comment on this blog what you feel this book will be about.

Life. Can be some pretty serious stuff - usually. Remember to work hard, be smart, make good decisions, laugh, take risks (not Vine Man type risks), enjoy your friends, enjoy yourself and make a difference.
