If Life of Pi truly is a story of fiction, then in the author's when you say you got the story from Mr. Adirubasamy in a coffee shop then is he another part in the Pi Patel world of fiction? Also if that person is real then what kind of relationship do you have with him now(do you still speak to him, are you friends, or are you just random strangers to each other)?
In Life of Pi you put a lot of details around the characteristics of the animals on the boat. Was this important so at the end the reader could see how it was possible for them to be the humans?
